Party patriarch Samajwadi Mulayam Singh Yadav gave his blessing to his daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav who joined the BJP. It was the first meeting between them after arriving in Lucknow on Friday. Following this, the Bharatiya Janata Party informed that they have taken this step positively. Speaking about the meeting between Aparna Yadav and Mulayam Singh Yadav, Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Brajesh Pathak said it showed the value of Indian culture.
Reacting to the meeting between Aparna Yadav and Mulayam Singh Yadav, BJP leader and UP minister Brajesh Pathak told Republic it was a positive sign for the party. He further added that the entry of Aparna Yadav into the BJP has strengthened the party. He had previously said the move would benefit the party in upcoming polls.
“Aparna ji is a woman who respects Indian culture. The fact that she received her father-in-law’s blessing is something the whole country should salute. Apart from being a member of the BJP, she has shown how to advance Indian values by doing the same,” Pathak told Republic.
Speaking further about the meeting, the UP Minister added that the blessing given to Aparna Yadav by Mulayam Singh Yadav will be seen as a blessing for the BJP itself. “He blessed a BJP member. Now, a BJP member’s dream will only be realized after the party forms the government,” the minister said. Meanwhile, the tacit endorsement of Aparna Yadav by Mulayam Singh Yadav is seen as a consequence of the continuing split in the Yadav family.
