Belize placed third in the National Council of Indian Culture (NCIC) competition. Arelee Parham won the prestigious title of Miss East Indian Belize on August 3.

Belize placed third in the National Council of Indian Culture (NCIC) competition. Arelee Parham won the prestigious title of Miss East Indian Belize on August 3. As part of her reign, she had the opportunity to represent Belize in the NCIC. The competition took place on October 25 in Trinidad and Tobago. Parham spoke with Love News and gave us more information about his trip to Trinidad.

Arelee Parham, Miss East India, Belize 2019-2020: “I went to Trinidad where I represented Belize at the international Miss Divali Nagar competition where we finished third again. It was very amazing and I take it as a great experience. I believe that cultural preservation is very important and for me, to be part of the population that could positively contribute to the preservation of Indian culture, I think it was very important for me to be part of this number of people who could contribute positively, it reflects well Belize and myself.

Parham is proud to have represented Belize in an international competition and is passionate about cultural preservation.
