‘Brahmastra’ will bring Indian culture to the world, says H.S. Rajamouli

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who has made hit films such as ‘RRR’ and ‘Baahubali’, said Ranbir Kapoor’s star ‘Brahmastra’ will bring Indian culture to the world. He said on Wednesday that what he likes most about Ayan Mukerji’s next magnum opus is that it’s a commercial way of telling the story of the “astras”.

Attending a press conference before the release in Chennai, the ace director, who is introducing the film, said that “Brahmastra” is not only one of the most anticipated films, but also one of the most expensive of the year.

“Ayan dreamed of creating a world we had never seen before – the beautiful world of the astras that we learned from our history, our puranas,” Rajamouli said.

“Children, we have heard of these astras but we have never seen their splendour,” said the guiding ace.

“This is what Ayan has dreamed of. It has been a long journey since 2014. He was ably supported by Karan Johar, Ranbir, Alia, Nagarjuna and Amit sir. Thank you all for including me on this fantastic journey “, he added. added.

Explaining why he loved ‘Brahmastra’ so much, Rajamouli said, “Creating a world that Ayan created is not easy. Ayan created a power that still has limits. He provided the opportunity to create a greater villain. and also created a scope for the struggle for good to win over evil. It’s not like a fairy tale. It’s like a commercial way of telling the story of the astra. That’s what I like in ‘Brahmastra’.”

Continuing to explain why he loved the film, the director added, “Ayan made sure that among all the astras, including ‘Vanara Astra’, ‘Agni Astra’, ‘Jalastra’ and ‘Brahmastra’, love is the strongest. Not just telling that fact in the dialogues, he made sure his point of view gets across. That love will trump everything.

“Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva” is released on September 9.
