Forbes unveils top Indian business leaders in the Middle East

Forbes Middle East unveiled the best Indian leaders in the Middle East, recognizing the achievements of the most successful Indian business leaders in the Arab world.

The 30-member list is dominated by business figures based in the United Arab Emirates, nearly half of whom are from the Indian state of Kerala.

Yusuffali MA, president of the Lulu group at the top of the list, followed by Renuka Jagtiani of the Landmark group, Sunny Varkey of GEMS Education, Sunil Vaswani, Ravi Pillai, PNC Menon and Dr Shamsheer Vayalil, among others.

Although the list is dominated by seasoned business leaders, the inclusion of next generation business owners like Adeeb Ahamed of Lulu Financial Holdings is a great recognition for the younger generation of Malayalee business leaders who are making an impact. in the Middle-East.

There are eight billionaires of Indian descent based in the Middle East, and some of the region’s biggest local brands have been launched by Indian expats featured in Forbes‘list, including Lulu Hypermarket, which is owned by billionaire Yusuff Ali.

The 2021 edition of the list included business leaders from various industries such as retail, industry, healthcare, banking and finance.
