YO Hotels & Homes, India’s fastest growing hotel chain, announced on Friday it has signed an agreement with Highgate to create its first flagship property in Las Vegas, OYO’s first property in this bustling city – OYO Hotel & Casino Las Vegas.
Located near the corner of the famous Las Vegas Strip on Tropicana Ave., formerly known as Hooters Casino Hotel offers 657 rooms on 19 floors and a 35,000 square foot casino. Additional amenities will include two signature restaurants, four bars, a fitness center and an outdoor pool. The property will undergo a transformation that will be completed this year, which will bring the OYO brand to life in the world’s most recognizable tourist destination. Highgate will take over management of the hotel and Paragon Gaming will continue to operate the casino.
Oyo and Highgate will spend a total of $ 20 million to renovate the hotel, which stay open during transformation, Reuters noted.
