Indore: The country’s cleanest city will host a congregation of India’s industry’s leading business magnets on Friday, where they will come and participate in the state government’s Magnificent Madhya Pradesh (MMP) meeting of investors on Friday. Among them are Kumarmanglam Birla, Aadi Godrej, Rajinder Gupta of Trident Group and Dilip Sanghvi of Sun Pharma.
The state government is considering investments in eight key sectors during the event. Unlike previous years, this year there will be no MoU signing between the state government and the industrialist, as only serious investment proposals would be accepted.
The main event would be held at the Brilliant Convention Center and the city has been completely renovated to accommodate guests. The road from the airport to the hotels where guests are staying and from the hotels to the reception area has been repaired and decorated with lights.
MMP schedule: The one-day event is divided into two parts. In the first, there will be an inauguration program from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CM Nath and a few other industrialists who have made investments in the state and are also willing to make other investments will address the inaugural function. In the afternoon, 8 special sessions will be organized in two parts, the first session will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the second from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A prominent industrialist will lead these sessions. In the evening there will be a cultural program followed by dinner and the MMP will end.
CM will have a roundtable interaction: During the post-MMP lunch session, Chief Minister Kamal Nath will have a roundtable interaction with the industrialist, where he will pursue industrial investment and develop policies. He should also attend one of the other ongoing sessions.
AI and big data hub among MMP’s areas of intervention: After the deployment of the GST, the state government plans to develop the state as a hub for large logistics companies. Agro-industrial, tourism, pharmaceutical, IT and IT services, mainly artificial intelligence (AI), nanotechnologies and the establishment of a massive data center, storage batteries, renewable energies are the main areas investment. Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and cement and mining will also be areas of focus.

In the “Urban Mobility and Real Estate” session, Niranjan Hiranandani, MD Hiranandani Group and N. Srinivasan, MD India Cement will be the keynote speakers. Sanjay Dubey coordinator. During the Logistic Hub session, Mahendra Agrawal, Founder and CEO of GATI Lt. and Sandipan Chakraborthty, President of TM International Logistics Ltd. will be the keynote speakers and Chief Secretary SR Mohanti will be the coordinator. The speaker for the session on “Industry 4.0 MP, the center of emerging innovation” will be NITI President Aayog, Amithbh Kant and Debjani Ghosh, NASSCOM President will be the speaker and coordinator Manish Rastogi. In the session on “MP as an emerging pharmaceutical destination”, Dilip Sanghvi, MD Sun Pharma and VK Somani, Drug Controller of India will be the speakers and Pallavi Govil will be the coordinator.

Session on “Emerging Opportunities in Industry”. Guruprashad Mohpatra Secretary, Department for the Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), GoI, Adani Wilmar’s Pranav Adani and Dr. Rajesh Rajora will coordinate the session. At the session on “Sewing Textiles and Clothing for Young India”, Kumarmanglam Birla, Group Chairman Aditya Birla and Rajinder Gupta, Chairman Trident will be the keynote speakers. Mohammad Suleman will coordinate it. Session on “Tourism Opportunities for Members of Parliament” Arun Nanda Chairman, Mahindra Holidays and Nakul Anand, ED ITC will be the keynote speakers. Faiz Kidwai will be coordinator. During the session on “Feeding India: Opportunities in Food Processing” Rasna Piruz Khambatta, Managing Director of Pioma Industries and Ashok Sharma, Managing Director and CEO Mahindra Agri and Chitrajan Dhar, ITC will be the keynote speaker and Iqbal Singh Bains will be the coordinator.
